# Find and export an audience

> Work with buyers and recipients according to your task.

## Before you start

Audiences separates Buyers and Recipients. Composition depends on store activity; it is not a manually maintained address book.

## Step by step

1. Choose the right base and review its composition. The buyer is not necessarily the recipient.
2. Use composition, count filters and search. Review people with gifts nearing expiry too.
3. Check pagination to verify the selected group.
4. Export CSV after reviewing active filters. Export follows that subset, not necessarily the entire base.

## How to verify the result

The file represents your selection. Total base, filtered people and email-eligible contacts can have different counts.

## If something goes wrong

* If empty, check whether activity has created that audience.
* Phone-only contacts do not synchronize to email. Having contact details does not prove consent; do not assume WhatsApp synchronization.
