# The gift card did not arrive

> Check the stage and retry delivery of the same gift card.

## Before you start

Find the detail and timeline. An accepted request is not proof of delivery.

## Step by step

1. If the coupon is still being prepared, wait for that stage; delivery retry is not available yet.
2. Distinguish scheduled, sending, delivered and failed. Check the recorded destination.
3. If delivery failed and the action is available, choose Retry delivery.
4. Check the new delivery run and its final result in the timeline.

## How to verify the result

Retrying preserves the gift card, code and balance and creates a new delivery run. Queued does not mean delivered.

## If something goes wrong

* Do not issue another gift card to fix a failed delivery: that creates another balance obligation.
* If your account offers WhatsApp, check the international number and fallback email. WhatsApp failure followed by delivered email can be one delivery chain; availability is determined by the screen.
