# Choose a design

> Pick the gift card artwork by occasion or upload your own; the opening experience is chosen later, in Brand.

## Before you start

Save the setup product first. Its artwork belongs to the product; the presentation controls the recipient experience.

## Step by step

The picker organizes designs by occasion and lets you upload up to three of your own designs during setup. Upload is available before checkout; it does not publish the product or replace subscription activation.

1. Choose artwork from the available options.
2. Confirm the artwork. The opening experience (Story or Letter) is selected in the next step, Brand, not here.
3. Confirm your choice and let it save before moving on.

## How to verify the result

Setup retains the chosen artwork and presentation before brand configuration. This does not delegate artwork selection to the buyer.

## If something goes wrong

* AI generation is available later in the dashboard, rather than inside this setup step.
* If the step appears again, check which option remains selected before continuing.
