# Create your first gift card

> Set its title, amounts and validity, then save a draft before choosing its presentation.

## Before you start

You are in the creation stage of setup. Decide which gift you want to offer and the purchase amounts it should support.

## Step by step

  <Step title="Name the gift">
    Enter a title the buyer can recognize.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Set the amounts">
    Choose suggested amounts or add positive values. Remove options you do not need; at least one must remain.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Choose validity">
    Use no expiration or an available period: 15, 30, 60, 90, 180 or 365 days. For another period, choose custom and follow the limit shown in the field.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Save the draft">
    Review the preview and continue. This saves a real unpublished product; publication follows subscription confirmation.
  </Step>

## How to verify the result

A real product is saved without being published yet. Retrying setup reuses that draft instead of creating another product.

## If something goes wrong

* An empty, zero or negative amount is not a valid purchase option; correct it before continuing.
* If confirmation is missing, resume the same step and check the draft; do not assume publication succeeded.
