Before you start

Download the screen template. Headers are always email,nombre,ref_externa, including when Gifty uses another language.

Step by step

  1. Prepare up to 1000 rows. Use valid emails and a ref_externa that identifies each recipient for reconciliation.
  2. Import and review errors: duplicate external references block processing; duplicate emails produce a warning. Email comparison is case-insensitive; ref_externa is matched exactly after trimming surrounding spaces. Blank rows are skipped.
  3. Fix problems before confirming the batch.
  4. Open the detail to track progress and export results when needed.

How to verify the result

Results distinguish issued, not_issued and revoked and retain ref_externa. Export can be available before completion; a partial CSV is not proof of a complete batch.

If something goes wrong

  • A duplicate-email warning is different from a duplicate-reference error.
  • Before resubmitting a batch, reconcile issued rows to avoid creating additional value accidentally.

What to do with each result

  • issued: reconcile the reference with the existing gift. Recover failed delivery instead of issuing that row again.
  • not_issued: inspect the reason and fix the data or requirement before submitting that row again.
  • revoked: the gift has a revocation; investigate context before replacing it. This is not a delivery failure.
Separate these groups before creating a new batch and check whether the export was still partial.
