Before you start

Find the order or gift detail. Check who bought it and who should receive it.

Step by step

  1. In the order, copy buyer access or resend the buyer email when available.
  2. In the gift card, correct or reopen recipient details and review validation before confirming.
  3. If a pending operation or conflict appears, refresh before attempting another correction.
  4. For an expired gift, review Reactivate: it shows the added days and resulting date before confirmation.

How to verify the result

Access and details remain linked to the same operation. Reactivation makes remaining balance usable again; it does not restore consumed value.

If something goes wrong

  • Scheduled, activating and unknown outcomes are different states; uncertainty is not a reason to issue again.
  • Access links and secret-gift identity are private. Do not paste them into public channels.

Recover buyer access

Open the order and check its status before copying its configuration link. Share it only with the buyer, or resend their email using the available action. If the order remains scheduled or activating, check its timeline: access does not bring a scheduled delivery forward. You are done when the buyer can open that same order; issuing another gift card is unnecessary.

Correct the recipient

From the gift card detail, compare the saved destination with the correct information. Open Correct or Reopen details, review validation and confirm. If a correction is pending or the revision is stale, refresh first to work from the latest state. Check the destination and new activity in the detail. Keep a secret gift sender’s identity private.

Reactivate an expired gift card

Check that the detail says expired and review the remaining balance. In Reactivate, choose the days and read the resulting date before confirming. Then verify the new validity and the same remaining balance. This action does not refund previous redemptions or create another gift. Read as Markdown
